Ron and Sandy Schultz                                                        Christmas 2010 A.D.

PERHAPS TODAY...!..the Lord Jesus will come again to meet His redeemed in the air; that would make 2012 special for more reason than receiving the 'Schultz 2010 Christmas letter' in 2012.
Sandy and Ron motored to Florida 2/1/10 - 2/17

Ron was fascinated by grapefruit growing in the subdivision and many oranges laying on the streets. We swam in the bay at Key Largo and in a pool at Naples motel. We didn't see Tiger Woods or Detroit Tigers or turtles or panthers even tho road signs warned of panther traffic. We saw birds squirrels, deer, otter, trees, and shells and white sand and aggregate made of broken shells. We ate a Chick Fila [first and maybe last]!
We had two night with relaxing rain on the roof; it was the 3rd coldest for the period in Florida history. With gray skies and rain it seemed much like Michigan in February. We regret that we didn't get up for 4am space shuttle launch which could be seen from the Davenport RV park we were at.
we saw the corkscrew river swamp but due to cold saw no alligators. We saw lots of orange groves and a few tomato and corn farms. Ron was surprised to see many different kinds of palm trees.

En route we spent 2 days in S, Ill for Mom V's birthday.

Son Paul led a pilgrimage in August. He and Joy continue to work for a condo law law firm in Plymouth, though the firm name changed with Alexander going from owner to employee and owner Lee moving on. Paul is also into estate planning.

Mark went to truck driving school and hired on with Schneider Trucking. As of 12/19 he has driven one tank truck-load from near Detroit to Maumee, Ohio, traveling with a teacher. Mark continues to be available for accounting work. Mark started project to remove old concrete laundry tubs and replace with tub against the wall. Ron joined him and improvements were also made to floor and lighting.

John "works from home" as he continues at U of M medical programming job he spends most of his weeks in Columbus. He delivered a toast as a groomsman in a Loveland Colorado wedding.

Joy was quite busy bag piping. Joy was in a wedding in Seattle and attended another at Houston 6/26

Ron and Joy spent a November week in La Joya Nicaragua to fabricate and install home bio sand filters to provide families with potable drinking water -- and also to teach them hygiene and tell them the good news of Jesus dying for their sin and providing living water. Joy sang in Spanish on two radio stations there; the second time she sang 'Lift High the Cross' and the program director recorded it and told his associate "There we have our theme music now". La Joya is less than 10km from an active volcano, but that is true for many places in Nicaragua -- since it has many active volcanoes!

Sandy still has not taken a truck driving job. She's still Bible quiz coach.
She has over 200000 mi on Yukon. She had gallbladder removed 5/22.

Ron feeling enough better to participate on GLC work group and MOPS.

Ron enhancing house: more outlets, fixed Kleenex box holders, added to the garage attic, made modifications to turn all lights on in garage when door opened., provided a remote bathroom in use indicator, removable see-thru wall with hinged door on cold kitchen nook, knob enlarger, photocell on front light. Other accomplishments by Ron in 2010 include bird feeder mounting scheme, driveway alarm, 10-box rolling storage shelf, storm window storage rack in garage, providing p a system for Kauer family reunion July 14. And at Bill's TC Eagles Nest he added a step with handrail with the help of Bill and Mark. For Father's day, the children bought Ron a radial arm saw and a quality table saw to replace the one he picked up on the street.

June 10th Mom V moved to home Sandy was in S Ill for the event. Ron didn't even get a kiss on his 29th wedding anniversary, 6/13.

Ron's bro Bill got a new Cadillac SRX in May.

Ron's sis Karen became a great grandmother when Granddaughter Joanna had a baby girl on August 30, 2010 at 9:57 am. Her name is Giselle Lynn.

JAS 4th (Joey) wed 11/29.

Sandy's sis Judy says the bees are gone so Mark's Bee-Vac efforts were successful even tho he didn't think so when he did it 4/2009.

John Garfield, Judy and Cindy went to Utah parks and Grand Canyon in September.

Chris Bray starts in Oct working for Cigna Insurance.

As we look toward Jesus' second advent may this year be for you all a year of broad blessing, fretless faith, and heavenly hope.

      Merry Christmas,

Ron, Sandy, Paul, Mark, John, and Joy Schultz
